We currently have 53 chapters throughout the United States. By 1963, most of the major urban centers of the Northeast, Midwest, and West Coast had one or more CORE chapters, including a growing number of chapters on college campuses. In the South, CORE has active chapters and projects in Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida,South Carolina, and Kentucky.
